To ensure that SHM’s collections reach as wide an audience as possible, we have built traveling exhibits that will visit local synagogues, schools and community centers. These exhibits will offer members of our community, young and old, the exciting opportunity to see portions of the museum’s collection, and explore our history in a personal and meaningful way. Our ultimate goal is to make these exhibits available to our Sephardic communities throughout the world—from Panama and Mexico, to Brazil and Israel.

If you are interested in hosting a traveling exhibit in your community, please contact rsultan@theshm.com

“Thank you for the overwhelming display of artifacts, new publications and educational panels… for sharing details of the astounding work of the museum… and educating our congregation, nearly 1,000 attendees, young and old. No doubt the extent of the work of the museum was barely known to many of us and this weekend has been eye-opening.”
